What's a tourist guide?
Tourist guides conduct tours lasting a few hours. Unlike tour guides, they are not authorised to give guided tours inside museums or other historic monuments. Tourist guides are limited to guided outdoor tours. They illustrate the historical, cultural and landscape value and characteristics of the monuments and places visited, providing the most important and interesting information.

A native of La Rochelle, I’m passionate about helping visitors discover the riches of this beautiful port city and the surrounding area, particularly the Île de Ré, with its wine-growing landscapes, salt marshes, fortifications and fascinating history. Over the years, I’ve built up a wealth of knowledge about the area, and my natural curiosity drives me to add to this knowledge every day to perfect each of my guided tours.
